January – Winter ground conditions reports will continue to be published twice weekly (usually on a Tuesday & Friday) until the end of April..
Wed. 18 March – Tougher new laws come into force regarding the worrying of livestock by dogs. You can read more about this here.
Sat. 28 March – The Snowdon Mountain Railway will resume running trains to Clogwyn, which is about ¾ of the way up the Llanberis Path, and a mile from the summit. Initially only a diesel service will run.
Sat. 28 March – Parking at Pen y Pass will revert to pre-booking for the season, a system which will now be in its sixth year. Using the website, bookings can be made for any date during the season.
Sat. 28 March – The Sherpa bus service will switch to the high season summer timetable, and buses all round the mountain will be more frequent, especially from the Park & Ride (at Nant Peris) to Pen y Pass and Llanberis.
Sat. 25 April – Hafod Eryri, the summit building, will open daily for the season (weather permitting). It will then be open until the end of October.
Mon. 4 May – The Snowdon Mountain Railway will resume running steam trains (Monday to Friday only) in addition to diesel.
Sat. 18 July (p.m.) – The Snowdon International Race / Ras Yr Wyddfa (up and down the Llanberis Path). The area near the summit can also get very congested, so this date is best avoided, if you can.

Sun. 25 October – The last day of trains running to the summit, after which Hafod Eryri, the summit building, will close for the winter. Trains may still run to Rocky Valley or Clogwyn for another week.
Sun. 1 November (unconfirmed) – The last day of trains on the Snowdon Mountain Railway, to Clogwyn only.
Mon. 2 November – The Sherpa bus service will revert to the less frequent winter timetable. Buses from the Park & Ride will only be hourly, and two-hourly on Sundays.
Sun. 1 November – Parking at Pen y Pass will revert to Pay & Display for the winter. There will be no pre-booking until the following Easter.
