Sat. 29 March – The Snowdon Mountain Railway resumed running trains to and from Clogwyn, which is about ¾ of the way up the Llanberis Path, and a mile from the summit.
Sat. 5 April – Parking at Pen y Pass reverted to pre-booking, a system which is now in its fifth year. Bookings can be made for any date during the season.
Sat 5. April – The Sherpa bus service switched to the high season summer timetable, and buses all round the mountain are now more frequent, especially from the Park & Ride (at Nant Peris) to Pen y Pass and Llanberis.
Fri. 18 April – Trains resumed running to the summit, and Hafod Eryri, the summit building, has opened daily for the season (weather permitting). It will be open until 26 October.
Fri 25 April – The final winter ground conditions report was published, It will return next winter.
Mon 9 June – From this date the railway will also be running steam-hauled trains (Monday – Friday).
Sat. 19 July (pm) – The Snowdon International Race (up and down the Llanberis Path). The area near the summit can also get very congested, so this date is best avoided, if you can.

Late October – Trains will stop running to the summit, and Hafod Eryri, the summit building, will close for the winter.
Early November – Parking at Pen y Pass will revert to Pay & Display for the winter. There will be no pre-booking.
3 November – The Sherpa bus service will revert to the less frequent winter timetable. Buses from the Park & Ride will only be hourly, and two-hourly on Sundays. Current winter timetables can be viewed or downloaded here.)
