Sat. 29 March – The Snowdon Mountain Railway will resume running trains to and from Clogwyn, which is about ¾ of the way up the Llanberis Path, and a mile from the summit. The summit building will still remain closed until 1 May.
Early April – Parking at Pen y Pass will revert from Pay & Display to pre-booking, a system which will now be in its fifth year. Once open, bookings can be made for any date during the season.
Mon. 7 April – The Sherpa bus service will switch from the current winter timetable to the high-season service, and buses all round the mountain will be more frequent, especially from the Park & Ride (at Nant Peris) to Pen y Pass and Llanberis. (As an example, last year’s high-season timetables can be viewed here.)
Thurs. 1 May – Trains will resume running to the summit, so Hafod Eryri, the summit building, will be open for the season (weather permitting) until 26 October.
Sat. 19 July (pm) – The Snowdon International Race (up and down the Llanberis Path). The area near the summit can also get very congested, so this date is best avoided, if you can.
