Friday 1 November – Trains stopped running, and Hafod Eryri, the summit building, has closed for the winter.
Monday 4 November – Parking at Pen y Pass reverted to Pay & Display for the winter. There is no pre-booking.
Monday 4 November – The Sherpa bus service reverted to the less frequent winter timetable. Buses from the Park & Ride are only hourly, and two-hourly on Sundays. Current winter timetables can be viewed or downloaded here.)

A train approaches the summit
September – The railway is now only running a diesel service for the final weeks of the season, not steam.
10 June – Steam engines started additionally operating on the Snowdon Mountain Railway (Mon – Fri).
15 May – Trains resumed running to the summit, so Hafod Eryri, the summit building, is now open for the season (weather permitting) until 27 October.
23 March – The Sherpa bus timetable switched from the low winter service to the high-season service, and buses all round the mountain are now more frequent, especially from the Park & Ride (at Nant Peris) to Pen y Pass and Llanberis. The current high-season timetables are available to download.
23 March – Parking at Pen y Pass reverted from Pay & Display to pre-booking, a system which is now in its fourth year. Bookings can be made for any date during the season.
23 March – The Snowdon Mountain Railway resumed running trains to and from Clogwyn, which is about ¾ of the way up the Llanberis Path, and a mile from the summit.
